So it's been a while since I've updated this space.
I'm going to try to do better in the future -- but for now I can update the world on the changes in my arcade.
Given my new found focus on pinball, I've sold my Galaga, X-Men vs Street Fighter and my Centipede cabaret and bought a Shadow pinball. I also traded my Demolition Man for two Williams system 11 pins: a F-14 and a Jokerz!. The latter two pins are not likely keepers, I'll eventually sell them to get something else.
Not all is stale on the video game side of things. I did manage to pick up a Turbo Outrun cabaret and a Robotron: 2084, so all is not lost!
I must say that I just dig the pins more! Cannot wait to finish putting everything together in the game room and having all the pins in a row!
I'll start putting better updates on here in the future.

It's time to DEMO the arcade!
So I've lately been getting more into pins, so in a fun filled weekend, I doubly sold my Playchoice-10 to a friend, and bought a Demolition Man pinball!
This thing is awesome. That is all. More once I'm done playing.

Quartet!
My name is Steven, and I was a SEGA fanboy. I can admit that now.
Back in the day, all my friends had a Nintendo. I was the only one with a Sega Master System. So that meant I had cooler games than they did!
One of my favorites was Quartet.

Is it already February?!!!
So. It's a new year.
2015.... will be a good year.
The transition between 2014 and 2015 was rife with excitement for me!
I picked up in the span of four weeks (mid-December through mid-January)...
- an Outrun (grail for me),
- a Galaga (another strong desire), and two project machines,
- Double Dragon in a Moon Patrol cab,
- and X-Men vs Street Fighter working, just no monitor.
Let's talk about each one.

I hate monitors
I hate them with a passion.
So I've been trying to restore this Playchoice-10 DM (Dual Monitor). Both monitors are borked.
One of them is/was pretty easy. The other one is giving me nightmares. I cannot get anything to work on it.
They are Sharp XM-200IN monitors, and there is very little information on them. I wish they were Sanyo EZ20's. Ah well.
Plus, I got shocked tonight. Love voltage.
I think I'm gonna tap out and ask a friend to help out.

Hulk Smash!
First off, a story.
Growing up in arcades, my next door neighbor and I always played Street Fighter II. He was Ryu, I was Guile. The battles we had were epic. Ultimately, he won (sad face).
Moving forward, Capcom started releasing games in these large blue cabinets, with stereo sound. They were *awesome*! Now, I have always liked these "Big Blue" cabinets, as the are called. An opportunity came up locally for me to get one. I jumped on it.
